World, meet Chewbacca Reiner van der Hoorn.

Also known as Groucho Marx.
Also known as Princess Peaches, Fuzzy-Butt, Princess Fuzzy-Butt, Squeeker, and Muppet.
She is amazing. We picked her up at Brisbane airport at 3:30 in the afternoon. She came right out of her crate, started following us around, promptly went to the bathroom, and fell sound asleep on my lap when we drove home.
She has been adapting so well, and part of that is her calm and mellow personality, but part of that I really think is due to the fact that she hasn’t been over excited at all. We have been very careful to be really calm and easy with her, and not to make a big fuss. She is being pen- and crate- trained, and she loves both – we leave the door of her pen and crate open when we’re in the room often, and she still chooses to hang out in her pen.
She loves eating raw chicken necks and raw beef, which takes a bit for me to get used to, but she loves it. She also has been eating a grocery store brand of pet food that we’re slowly weaning her off of.
She is so much fun, loves to cuddle, snuggle, sleep, and bark at slippers. She is a real angel, and we both feel so lucky to have her in our lives.
